I'm back home on Long Island and it feels wonderful. It was difficult leaving that summer-like weather in Florida but we returned to a beautiful day. I noticed that the trees are blooming earlier than usual. This cherry tree at St. Ann's Church usually doesn't bloom until the first week of May, but it's already showing flowers! Happy spring everyone and happy Long Island!

This was taken a few years ago at this time of year. I'm looking forward to returning to my Long Island summer home! I miss the bay, and the boating and Fire Island. Most of all, I miss our grandchildren who we have not seen in quite some time!

The wake from some boats almost knocks over the smaller boats. I took this shot from a boat and the water is almost over my head. I can't image what happens to the paddle-boarders who are trying to balance!
