Ultralight Aviation at Juno Beach
Another beautiful sunset at Juno Beach.
From wikipedia: "Powered paragliding, also known as paramotoring, is a form of ultralight aviation where the pilot wears a motor on his or her back (a paramotor) which provides enough thrust to take off using a paraglider wing. It can be launched in still air, and on level ground, by the pilot alone — no assistance is required."

He rode down the beach to remove the "dangerous swimming" flag.
Why dangerous?
There were man-o'-wars in the water and swimmers could be stung!
The weather has been beautiful here in Florida, but the man-o'-wars have been here too!

Oliver at the beach
Have you ever tried to photograph a lively 3 year old boy?
Oliver didn't stop moving for a second. If he did look at the camera, it was a nano-second of eye contact and by the time I pressed the shutter, he was looking away, at the waves, the shells or whatever caught his eye.
Great fun on the beach, but few photos.

This image was taken in February of 2007, warm and pleasant weather.
Since that time, we've been back to Florida each winter.
I never thought I would be a person to enjoy Florida but I guess I was wrong.
Never say, "Never!"
You'd be surprised how your opinions change over time.
Just about now, with snow and cold and black ice,
I think of the pleasant temperature of the south.
