We took a ride to Montauk Point, walked the ocean beach and it felt like early summer.
Coats were removed because it was just too hot to walk around with a coat.
It was on my list of photos to take.
Some people have "bird lists" and I have a Long Island "photo list."

Thanks for the link, Alida. I never heard of this ranch out at Montauk. That is too bad because there is such a great history behind this ranch. So many stories about such great things remain untold unless someone points them out.
