An older photo. I am trying to take some of my photos off the computer. I have so many now, it's getting cluttered. I wanted to post this before it's removed and I forget about it. It's one of my favorites. This Black-capped Night-heron was just sitting on a tree trunk in the river where I was fishing. I felt like I had a fishing buddy all day. My husband was a quarter mile away down the river, but my bird friend was right there!
