In our neighborhood...
The Roosevelt Family, cousins of the Presidents, somehow, had a summer estate here on the southern shore of Long Island.
The home is now a museum. It is a beautiful piece of property, bordering the river.
House tours are on Sundays only.
The Historical Society has been restoring the property, and it is, and always will be, a work in progress.
