New York City

This is a memorial to the fire-fighters that died in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
It is posted on the side of a fire house on 8th Ave.

Street artist are all around, and for just a few dollars will make a charcoal sketch of you.

Hans Christian Andersen in Central Park.

Below is a photo of 5th Ave with it's containers yellow and orange of tulips.

We had a wonderful day on Saturday in the city...you know I mean New York City.
That's what we Long Islanders say..."the city" when we talk about going into Manhattan.
We saw, "The Pajama Game" with Harry Connick, Jr.
Excellent show, great music, funny... a wonderful, entertaining play.
We walked along 5th Ave and Park Ave and took a stroll through Central Park.
Lots to see in the park, including the flowering trees, this time of year.
All in all, it was a perfect day!
